Transportation Specialist
Primary Purpose
Responsible for the Preparation of the Inbound Schedule.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Responsible for scheduling truckload and less-than-truckload waste loads into Rineco
- Map-reading skills needed to put together LTL loads on a profitable basis
- Must be able to trouble-shoot problems with carriers and customers
- Must be able to work well with others to resolve conflicts
- Negotiations of rates

Education: High school diploma or its equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years office experience. Trucking/scheduling experience, knowledge of DOT hazardous waste regulations are preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities: Computer literacy (proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel). Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-faceted working environment and change. Ability to handle diversified assignments and assist with special projects. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
A post offer drug screen will be required.
