Transportation Maintenance Tech

Provide maintenance and support to rolling fleet and Shop Foreman.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide maintenance and support to rolling fleet.
• Troubleshoot and repair downed Tractor and/or Trailer.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on rolling fleet.
• Log all repair records according to DOT and company policies.
• Requires regular and punctual attendance.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:  Perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILL/EDUCATION

• This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
  
• Minimum one year maintenance/mechanic experience. 

• Current, valid driver's license required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 Physical/Mental demands:  Ability to see (including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus), read, write, sit, speak, hear, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach, and grasp, stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  The work environment is moderately noisy.

A post offer drug screen is required.
