Training Intern
Primary Purpose
Assist in the development and deployment of a new employee onboarding program. The Intern will utilize current skills and gain real world experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Design and prepare educational aids, may include but not limited to: job aids, training activities, instructor manuals, participant manuals
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop missing or update existing training content
- Assist in developing assessments for training courses, such as surveys, tests, on-the-job evaluations
- Assist in establishing and launching our selected Learning Management System
- Meet deadlines to keep project on track
- Other duties as assigned

Education: Candidate must be a full-time enrolled Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in HR, Education, Training or related field. Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Criteria: Must be able tocomplete a minimum of 10 weeks or a maximum 12 week commitment. Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
Knowledge and Abilities: Must be willing to learn the business. Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to details. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design, corporate training programs, and effective training methods. Willingness to learn new training techniques. Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in PowerPoint. Experience with Learning Management Systems is highly preferred. Must have a high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm and confidentiality. Must be able to work alone or with teams. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
A post offer drug screen will be required.
