Resource Manager

Primary Purpose                                                             

To manage a customer manufacturing facility in overseeing all areas related to identifying, implementing, and maintaining by-product management programs a large customer site.                                                    

Essential Functions and Responsibilities                                                              

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.                        
  • Develop and manage customer by-product management plan                                                    
  • Identify and implement opportunities for profit improvement                                                    
  • Direct customer facility management                                                    
  • Travel throughout United States, <20%                                                 
  • Conduct daily site inspections as needed                                                             
  • Work with leadership on development and implementation of new opportunities             
  • Work with all levels of management to implement and manage recycling programs                          
  • Prepare & present updates on a regular basis                                                     
  • Maintain site relationships to ensure customer satisfaction for byproduct activities                           
  • Consult with customer and vendors to develop solutions to improve by-product management processes
  • Identify all opportunities that can be serviced by Heritage Interactive                                                      
  • Meet with supplier partners to discuss and negotiate opportunities                                                         
  • Manage implementation to improve waste management procedures                                                      
  • Assist with escalated customer aging requests from Account Administrators                                        
  • Review & advise on customer proposals                                                                
  • Review & approve the need for new suppliers w/in customer programs                                                 
  • Prepare regular operational performance reviews for internal leadership                                                              
  • Work with Heritage onsite personnel, customer representatives, and Union representatives        
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure data/billing accuracy                                                              
  • Enter and maintain information within Salesforce for opportunity tracking

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. 4 year degree in Environmental Science or related Science preferred.                                          

Experience: 2 + years of Environmental experience providing consultative solutions to customers and balancing and delivering multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.                                                                                                                                                                                          

Knowledge and Abilities: Must possess a strong attention to detail and superior time management skills. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Be able to foster lasting relationships with clients and supplier partners. Must be comfortable building in-person relationships. Ability to solve problems and provide solutions with limited direction. Ability to write and review business proposals. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Sound knowledge and understanding of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations."
