Project Manager - Maintenance

Primary Purpose                                                             

Professional work in evaluation and implementation of processes, plants, equipment, methods or products. Assemble and oversee outside contractor project teams. Produce drawings using Auto-Cad as needed for fabrication, construction or design.                                                 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities                                                

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.                                                   
• Plan implementation of new technologies.                                                          
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.                                                           
• Transition processes from development to production.                                                  
• Oversee process implementation.                                                           
• Oversee special projects requested by management and review report before issue.

Education: High School Diploma is required. Four Year Degree is preferred.                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in maintenance project management experience is required. Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry preferred.   Minimum 2 years AutoCAD experience required. 3+ years preferred.  Mechanical and Architectural preferred.                                                                                                                                                                                         

Knowledge and Abilities: Strong personal communication skills. Proficient in Excel. Be flexible to respond to sudden requests/unexpected assignments. Be able to work in both plant and office environments. Work independently. Must wear all required protective equipment, and work in an outdoor environment and withstand exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
