Programmer/Analyst I

Primary Purpose

The Programmer/Analyst I position will provide technical support for the MMS/EIS/ERP applications. The position works as a member of the IT technical team (programmer/analyst's, DBA's, system administrators, consultant(s)), to ensure the proper and efficient functioning of the system and extend the application to meet changing business requirements.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Support, maintain, and extend the MMS/EIS ERP application.
  • Design, build, test, and document customizations to the application.
  • Modify and create new reports.
  • Provide tier 2 troubleshooting support to system users.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs and integrations with other systems.
  • Work with operations, accounting, and sales teams to define and implement new functionality.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant area required. (Science, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc. preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years as a programmer/analyst required. Programming experience with Oracle Forms/Reports and Oracle PL/SQL required. Experience programming with HTML/java/Javascript/C#/.net a plus.

Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated technical skills to include systems analysis, design. And programming. High level of self-awareness and ability to hold self-accountable for results and high standards. Exceptional customer service focus. Ability to identify and resolve issues independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated creative thinking and problem solving. Ability to manage multiple projects and process improvement initiatives. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
