Program Manager I - Customer Experience

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Act as single point of contact for program accounts.
  • Technical resource for program accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with program Customers and maintain customer ownership.
  • Act as a Customer advocate.
  • Oversee Program Coordinators.
  • Enter item quotes.
  • Work with Vendors for supply deliveries.
  • Keep Corporate Account Manager up to date on all account activities.
  • Conduct training for program account Customers.
  • Assist Customers through off spec/discrepancy process.
  • Pick up coordination.
  • Work closely with Service Area Locations.
  • Provide program reports.
  • Initiate Customer set-up.
  • Initiate new generator set-up.
  • Lead new program implementation with Sales or Service Centers.
  • Responsible for contract maintenance.
  • Provide field quotes.
  • Print paperwork/labels as needed.
  • Responsible for other projects/duties as assigned.
  • Understand when to elevate issues and enter issues into Intelex.
  • Participates in Monthly Safety Training Topics and meets Company Safety Observation Goals.
  • Replication of approvals across program.
  • Travel to Customer locations as needed.

Education/Experience: If Internal, a 4 Year Degree is required, with a minimum of 2 year of Heritage Experience from a Customer Service or Technical Role, as evidenced by a consecutive score of 3 or greater on previous evaluations (minimum of 2 evaluation periods). In lieu of degree, a High School Diploma with 4+ years of Technical or Customer Service experience is required. If External, a 4 Year Degree is required. A minimum of 4 years' of Customer Service experience in an office setting is required. Experience in a Hazardous Waste or Environmental field is preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of Heritage systems and capabilities required. Strong knowledge of DOT, RCRA and state regulations required. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Must have excellent decision making and organizational skills. Microsoft products knowledge required. Travel necessary in position. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
