Part Time Mechanic

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Basic migwelding of steel and aluminum.
• Replacing valves, fixing air lines, assemble hand tools.
• Operate equipment to perform general equipment repair and installation.
• Diagnose equipment problems and know when to send out as opposed to repair in house.
• Perform assigned work in compliance with all Safe work procedures, guidelines practices, permits, and air monitoring requirements.
• Some record keeping.
• Please note this is on a part-time basis. This person may work on their off hours to supplement their income/retirement income.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience in truck/trailer maintenance.

Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Must have a Chauffer's license. Must have the ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
