Operations Technician

Primary Purpose

Provide field work on customer site to meet the goals of the onsite operation in a safe and conscientious manner providing value and customer satisfaction to internal and external customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Prepares necessary supplies, tools, monitors and other equipment for daily operations.
• Provides labor for installation of liners in roll-off boxes, safely operates pumps, heaters, fork lifts, filters, scrubbers systems, sampling.
• Monitors pumps & piping systems, tank levels, centrifuge operations, loading and unloading operations, roll-off boxes.
• Operates small hand tools and equipment.
• Performs daily checks & inspections of centrifuge operations and associated operations.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment.
• Make repairs to equipment.
• Performs job in a safe manner, following all safety procedures.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required.

Experience: N/A

Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations. Ability to work closely with others. OSHA 10 and OSHA 40 hour training preferred. Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to repair equipment. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
