Marketing Internship

Primary Purpose

Heritage Environmental Services is looking for a motivated marketing (or related field) student who is ready for hands-on experience in social media, website design, anHeritage Environmental Services is looking for a d digital collateral. This internship position will work closely with the Heritage Environmental Services' marketing department to support digital transformation. This role is focused on creating dynamic content that tells Heritage's brand story across our marketing channels.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Develop, write, and edit engaging blog, website, and social media content.
• Design compelling graphics to break down complex, technical concepts.
• Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns and overall social presence.
• Brainstorm campaign ideas using external research and best practices.
• Identify target audiences on each platform and create personas to drive content.
• Engage with key stakeholders across the business to help generate content.
• Provide suggestions for improving experience on social platforms and internal processes, including extension of Heritage's social presence onto additional emerging channels.

Education: In 3rd or 4th year of college program in a Marketing or related field is required. A minimum of a 3.0 GPA is required.

Experience: Previous marketing experience preferred, but not required.

Knowledge and Abilities: Creative problem-solver with excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven relationship-builder. Organized with ability to manage multiple projects at once. Experience with social media marketing and analytics. WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus, but not required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
