Marketing Coordinator, Industry Relations

Primary Purpose

Lead successful customer-facing events including compliance trainings and tradeshows, elevating the Heritage brand and driving opportunities for commercial growth.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Coordinate and support compliance trainings and industry tradeshows held across the U.S attending events as needed based on size and marketing strategy.
  • Interact with customers, prospects, and industry contacts, representing Heritage while demonstrating a strong sales and customer experience mindset.
  • Develop tradeshow strategies, leading preparation and follow-up activities with Sales/Account Representatives ensuring the team maximizes the investment while staying on budget. Create and track event campaigns, working with sales to link opportunities.
  • Develop budget for Company Store and show expenses.
  • Present ROI using Salesforce reports and dashboards, providing financial recaps to leadership and recommending strategy for future events and sponsorship levels.
  • Design and order collateral, signage, ad placements, and branded merchandise for giveaways and employee orders.
  • Successful candidate must be able to travel a lot of the time during peak season to support key customer-facing events.

Education: Bachelors Degree required (Marketing or Business degree preferred).

Experience: Minimum three years of marketing/industry relations experience required. Environmental Services industry background is preferred, but not required.

Knowledge and Abilities: Mastery of Microsoft Office products is required, including Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Candidate must also have experience using products in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience using a CRM platform or other campaign tracking/reporting tool is required (Salesforce preferred). Marketing automation software experience is strongly desired, but not required (knowledge of Pardot a plus). Excellent communication and organizational skills needed to execute customer-facing events of all sizes. Ability to travel 35-50% during peak event season. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
