Heritage Thermal Services (HTS) is dedicated to safety, compliance, our community and our employees. HTS is located on the Ohio River in East Liverpool, Ohio. Known as the tri-state area, we border Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The facility is approximately 30 minutes from the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and provides opportunity for big city adventures, small town communities, and country living.

Requirements:

• Experience with laboratory instrumentation is preferred.
• Experience with EPA SW-846 and ASTM methodology is preferred.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess good laboratory safety and housekeeping skills.
• Must be able to work shifts – days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Must be a team player.

Minimum Education:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field or experienced in environmental/industrial laboratory.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform sample identification and preliminary screening of all incoming waste samples.
• Perform fingerprint and wet chemistry analysis.
• Sample preparation of waste and water samples for organic and inorganic analysis.
• Inventory or reagents, standards, gasses and glassware.
• Standard preparation for quantitative analysis.
• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation.
