Laboratory Chemist

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science
• A minimum of two years of analytical laboratory experience
• Experience in GC/MS or ICAP operation and maintenance
• Industrial or environmental laboratory experience preferred

DUTIES:

• Ensures Safety and Compliance is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Perform analysis of all samples as specified in the laboratory operations and procedure manuals.
• Operate and maintain various laboratory instrumentation.
• Coordinate the analysis of all samples as described in the facility waste analysis plan.
• Administer sample tracking, data reporting, and record keeping for all samples.
• Ensure a good quality control and laboratory operations program.
• Ensure adequate training of laboratory personnel.
• Direct supervision of Laboratory Technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
