Inventory Specialist
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
- Experience dealing with vendors and contracts
- Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem resolution, judgement, and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and work in a team environment.
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Infrequent after-hours call in support may be required.
DUTIES:
- Creating, coding, and receiving Purchase Orders
- Main point of contact with corporate regarding Accounts Payable, Wire transfers, Check requests and Vendor set up
- Ordering and setting delivery of all goods for plant operation, such as safety items, chemicals, operational supplies and equipment.
- Act as liaison between facility and vendors for shipment and payment status
- Determine taxable status of purchases
- Assist with monthly accrual process
- Maintain SOPs on financial system and process
- Be the "go to" for questions and training on financial information system.
- Organize and maintain existing plant inventory storage
- Establish tracking system for movement of items in and out of inventory storage.
- Other duties as assigned
