Incineration Group Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five plus years' experience in hazardous waste or chemical handling procedures required.
- Supervisory experience is desirable.
- Must be a team player and possess good safety and housekeeping skills.
DUTIES:
- Manage the operation of the incinerator in conformance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policy, and local, state and federal regulations
- Inspect production area and equipment and document.
- Identify regulatory compliance and maintenance problems, and implement appropriate corrective action
- Ensure adequate training of incineration/operations personnel
- Supervision of Operations Technicians
- Assume Incident Command during an emergency situation when needed
- Ensure safety standards/policies are followed for employees and contractors working in the incineration area.
- Supervise maintenance and E/I activities in the area on nights and weekends.
- Communicate with BOP to ensure efficient processing of waste feeds.
