IT Data Analyst

Primary Purpose

The Data Analyst will generate, audit, and update corporate reports as needed. The Data Analyst will authenticate and ensure data is accurate. Working with administrative and IT staff will be key to issue corrections and ensure a process is in place to avoid error.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Identify and execute financial analysis to optimize business performance.
  • Identify cause and effect patterns and analyze problems to arrive at an appropriate solution.
  • Design appropriate queries and perform data mining to identify trends and vulnerabilities within the client's operations.
  • Document and analyze existing business processes, workflows, and functionality.
  • Complete root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Assist and execute data driven ad hoc analyses around ROI.
  • Generate dashboards and communicate results to a wide audience.

Education/Experience: 2 Year or 4 Year Degree with a Data driven field of study OR High School Diploma or its equivalent with 2-3 years' of related work experience is required. 1-3 years' experience with data management/reporting, data analysis/presentation, relational databases, data visualization tools, data query tools, basic statistical analysis, business administration and customer service preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail Oriented to ensure accuracy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence others appropriately. Motivated, proactive self-starter able to work independently with the ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel and PowerBI. Salesforce and/or other Customer relationship Management systems, Data warehouse (Snowflake/Azure), Programming languages, such as SQL, Oracle and Python. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
