HT Accounting Support Manager

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing financial status by developing and implementing necessary actions by analyzing, verifying, capturing data, entry and reporting information.
  • Calculate mileage activity and other driver expenses for payroll purposes; assist with the document distribution for accurate order entry.
  • Calculate, enter, and maintain payroll information into our MMS system on a weekly basis.
  • Create and process intercompany billing, and capture lost revenues and short billings created internally.
  • Analyze P&L against cost in operations by department and make the determination on stronger cost controls or rate increase for implementation.
  • Create month-end reports for financial statements; work directly with management to ensure inputs to the financial statement are accurate and reliable.
  • Perform necessary department internal audits to identify, raise and implement process improvements.
  • Sets goals and objectives for direct reports and provide meaningful mid and annual performance evaluations.
  • Establish metrics and goals to monitor the consistency of department operational accounting functions.
  • Identify, raise and implement necessary cost control in all areas, including parts and inventory management.
  • Keeps abreast of current accounting trends, practices, and developments in the profession including regulations.
  • Integrate accounting practices with current fleet maintenance management software. Responsible for improving systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Subcontractor, Supplier, and Vendor invoice management.  Ensure proper cost coding and contracts terms are met.
