Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Schedules, plans and directs employees in their assigned tasks ensuing production goals are met in an efficient manner.
• Ensures all employees are working in a safe manner and practicing company safety policies with prescribed equipment required for operational use.
• Trains new employees in company and department procedures and monitors adherence.
• Interfaces with other areas and departments to insure a smooth flow of product through the operation.
• Monitors equipment assigned to area and notifies maintenance of major breakdowns.
• Responsible for the unloading and loading of wastes in conformance to company rules and regulations.
• Maintains operating record.
• Track metrics in regards to thru-put, consumables, and man hrs. to report to the plant supervisor on a weekly basis.
• May participate in hiring, performance evaluation, discipline, promotions, and termination decisions.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Experience: One to Three years of operations experience.

Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
