Known as the tri-state area, we border Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The facility is approximately 30 minutes from the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and provides opportunity for big city adventures, small town communities, and country living.

About the position:

The Field Technician is a labor-intensive position that performs industrial cleaning, such as waterblasting, shoveling, tank cleaning etc. The position requires working in confined spaces and at heights.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overnight travel on occasion.
• Must be able to work long hours or weekends with short notice.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Confined Space Entry certified
• Must meet insurance company guidelines to drive company vehicles offsite.
• Good safety habits and good problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be a "team player"
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Industrial cleaning experience is a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Perform industrial maintenance work (sandblasting, tank cleaning, waterblasting, etc,)
• Prepare necessary supplies, tools, and other equipment for assigned task.
• Clean and scrape the inside of chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for proper disposal.
• Confined space entry
• Operate excavation equipment.
• Operate small hand tools and provide other construction type labor.
• Decontaminate equipment and tools.
• May load, unload, and sample drums; responds to emergency spills.
• Will split drums in BOP area when not working in the field.
• Other duties as assigned.
