Field Accounting Program Manager

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Asset Class and equipment set up in PeopleSoft.
  • Maintain, Create, and update Field Service rate sheets in PeopleSoft.
  • Conduct PeopleSoft testing and work with IT on new projects.
  • Create training SOP's for PeopleSoft financials.
  • Train new employees on new releases in PeopleSoft.
  • Act as backup for locations in absence of Field Accounting Specialists.
  • Prepare and run financial reports.
  • Assist in hiring of new administrative staff in organization.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Travel up to 50%
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Bachelor of Science in Accounting Required. In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience required.

Experience: In addition to Four Year Degree, minimum 5 years related Accounting Experience required. In lieu of degree, minimum 10 years of related Accounting experience required. PeopleSoft experience preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: Thorough knowledge of Accounting and Business principles. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Strong attention to detail. Strong Microsoft skills. Travel up to 50% required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
