Facility Supervisor - Drum Department

Primary Purpose

Supervise the daily operations for the Drum Department

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Schedules, plans and directs employees in their assigned takes ensuring production goals are met and tracked in an efficient manner.
  • Develops, maintains, and initiates reports on all activities for management review or required by regulations, company policies and procedures.
  • Trains new employees in company and department procedures while monitoring and documenting adherence to the established metric goals.
  • Interfaces with inter-department areas, other departments and management to ensure a smooth work flow throughout the facility.
  • Ensures and documents that equipment assigned to an area are inspected and maintenance is notified when repairs are required.
  • Will participate in hiring, promotion, performance evaluations, employee counseling and termination decisions.
  • Ensures all employees are working in a safe manner and compliant manner following federal, state and local regulations along with company policies and procedures.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent is required. Bachelor's in Science or related field preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of fast paced warehouse experience is required. Three to five years of RCRA and/or EHS experience in industry preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills. Good knowledge of various federal, state, and local industry-related regulations. Must have the ability to wear PPE, including respirator. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
