About the position:

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for taking care of facility grounds and buildings.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Prior building maintenance experience required to include minor plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair.
• Must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends when needed.
• Must be a team player and possess good safety and housekeeping skills.

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose problems with the buildings and grounds and determine a proper corrective action
• Plan repair work, secure supplies, materials and tools to complete a job.
• Coordinate work with contractors as needed
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and surrounding property to maintain a professional appearance. This could include mowing the lawn, painting interior of building and weed control
• Follow corporate safety procedures at all times and comply with access control regulations to maintain a safe work environment
• Performs other duties as assigned.
