Heritage Thermal Services (HTS) is dedicated to safety, compliance, our community and our employees. HTS is located on the Ohio River in East Liverpool, Ohio. Known as the tri-state area, we border Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The facility is approximately 30 minutes from the Greater Pittsburgh Airport and provides opportunity for big city adventures, small town communities, and country living.

About the position:

The Facility Groundskeeper is responsible for taking care of facility grounds and buildings.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Must keep safety as top priority.
• Prior building maintenance experience to include minor plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair.
• Skilled in use of hand and power tools.
• Eye for detail
• Must have ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to drive fork truck.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Must be a team player and possess good communication and housekeeping skills.

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose problems with the buildings and grounds and determine a proper corrective action
• Plan repair work, secure supplies, materials and tools to complete a job.
• Coordinate work with contractors as needed
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and surrounding property to maintain a safe, neat and professional appearance. This includes tasks such as; mowing, weeding, planting and tending to flowers, snow removal, painting interior of building, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, inspecting doors, fence, and gates to ensure in proper condition, and more.
• Maintain lawn equipment.
• Run errands to pick up supplies
• Follow safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
