Emergency Response Internship

An internship with Heritage Environmental Services will offer invaluable hands-on experience for your future career, as the selected individuals will be assisting business professionals in the daily management of the various departments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Build out the Emergency Response network by identifying and classifying Emergency Response contractors.
• Develop PREP guidelines training specific for Heritage employees.
• Review customer contracts for required updates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Candidate must be a full-time enrolled college Junior/Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (environmental, chemical, civil) minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

Criteria: Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 weeks or a maximum of 12 weeks commitment. Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.

Knowledge and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Office software. Anxious to learn new things and contribute quickly. Timely, positive and professional work habits required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
