Corporate Account Manager, Channel Partners Vertical As a Corporate Account Manager, Channel Partners Vertical you will be the driving force behind our key accounts, responsible for nurturing client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with various departments to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique needs and contribute to our overall success.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Collaborates with channel partner teams and regional sales organizations to engage with local plant environmental managers, product line and purchasing professionals, and technical buyers to understand both local and corporate-wide needs; works with other sales professionals to meet local plant requirements
  • Engages with divisional, regional, and corporate executives to develop a broad range of professional services opportunities, targeting $25 million per year from both ongoing and newly created customers and builds strong customer relationships
  • Works with sales, marketing, and other Corporate Account Managers (CAMs) to create a focused sales approach, including account targeting, developing tactical plans, proposal offerings, and contract creation in a team setting
  • Demonstrates strong negotiation abilities in executing contracts and service offerings
  • Manages business support staff to ensure appropriate scheduling, proposal preparation, timely responses to customer questions and complaints, and satisfactory resolution of issues
  • Cultivates positive company relations by participating in community and government activities and serving on related committees as appropriate
  • Works towards building and maintaining a positive company image both internally and externally
  • Stays updated on competitors' offerings, including products and services
  • Trains, coaches, mentors, and develops Account Representatives (AR) to ensure reliable and continuous performance in line with the talent strategy, succession plan, and partnering program
  • Manages responsibilities with minimal guidance from management. Delivers professional presentations to senior executives of customers
  • Acts as a leader within the company, leveraging extensive experience and knowledge to drive growth and manage the profitability of the Company
  • Serves as a liaison between sales, operations, customer service, and customers
  • Participates in sales meetings and training programs; represents the company at trade shows, conventions, Chamber of Commerce events, and other trade and professional associations
  • Keeps informed on major environmental regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitive conditions to work with customers and develop solutions as needed or identified
  • Demonstrates the ability to adapt to CORE business and customer categorization to optimize the use of company-owned assets
  • Negotiates pricing and contract requirements
  • Completes the annual sales revenue budget
  • Prepares, submits, and interprets periodic reports on activities, sales volume, and expenses; manages and controls sales expenses, ensuring timely submission of business expenses
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Company's service offerings across all business lines provided to customers
  • Travels up to 80% of the time, with overnight stays required
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • 5+ years of general business, sales, and account management experience (required) -OR-
  • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of general business, sales, and account management experience, as well as 3+ years in the environmental industry or business development (required)

Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of computers, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), expense reporting systems, etc.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a technical understanding of all site and technical service lines of business; demonstrates ability to supply company-owned assets
  • Quality communication skills for interacting with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and navigate multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to organize and set schedules and tasks to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to maintain a working knowledge of State and Federal Waste Code Regulations
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with overnight stays required
  • Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
