Business Intelligence Internship

An internship with Heritage Environmental Services will offer invaluable hands-on experience for your future career, as the selected individuals will be assisting business professionals in the daily management of the various departments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Conduct market research and prepare comprehensive market assessments across HES products and services.
• Analyze industry data and provide meaningful takeaways for business leaders.
• Use data visualization tools to present findings in a highly visual format; incorporating maps, graphs, and charts.
• Support commercial activity by researching key industries and prospects, as well as prioritizing leads.
• Mine customer data to assess opportunities to grow share of wallet and address potential revenue at risk.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent required. Candidate must be a full-time enrolled college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Management, business or related field. Environmental Services a plus.

Experience: Prior internship or after school/weekend work experience required.

Criteria: Knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required.Time commitment and hours will be agreed upon in advance between management and the candidate.

Knowledge and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Office software. Anxious to learn new things and contribute quickly. Timely, positive and professional work habits required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

A post offer drug screen will be required.
