BOP Group Manager

Essential Functions & Requirements:

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Provide front line supervision of service technicians to ensure safety and environmental compliance in the receiving and processing of waste.
• Stop and correct any unsafe or noncompliant acts when found.
• Coordinate the proper receiving, processing, and storage of all waste streams safely and in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Assume incident command during an emergency situation when needed.
• Ensure adequate training of Balance of Plant personnel.
• Assume alternate Plant Emergency Coordinator duties in the event of an emergency.
• Coordinate and oversee drum processing activities.
• Help coordinate available tank farm material to maintain lance flow.
• Perform all required inspections and complete associated paper work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. (required)

Experience:

• Five plus years' experience in hazardous waste or chemical handling procedures. (required)
• Supervisory experience. (preferred)
