Responsible for outside sales, new business development, and account management with assigned accounts or customers within your Territory (Northern Texas).  Support all business services for Heritage and its entities in achieving its revenue and profitability goals.  Manages quality and consistency of product and service delivery.  Travel 80% of time.

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all time.
  • Increases sales revenue and profit dollars by identifying potential new accounts and soliciting orders through personal sales calls to explain services, assess potential customer needs. Work to achieve or increase yearly goal in new business accounts
  • Develop comprehensive sales plans for territories.
  • Make well planned, focused and strategy focused customer contacts on frequent basis to understand needs or assist with problem solving activities for the customer's needs.  Some of these may be joint calls with operations, corporate accounts, leaders, or other sales employees.
  • Fosters sales relationships with target accounts and builds relationships.
  • Liaison between sales, operations, customer service and customers.
  • Maintain company contact information and document all sales calls, customers visits and business opportunities; Coordinate and complete profile information as needed.
  • Attends and participates in sales meeting and training programs; represents company at trade shows and conventions, Chamber of Commerce and other trade and professional associations.
  • Keeps informed on major environmental regulatory changes and industry trends as well as competitive conditions to work with customers and to develop customer solutions as needed, requested or identified.
  • Demonstrate ability to adapt to CORE business and customer categorization to fill up the company owned assets.

  • Ability to work with customers to set up profiles, service time frames and ensure quality and customer satisfaction with the current offering.  Works to resolve any customer concerns.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements.
  • Complete annual sales revenues budget and key customer initiatives.
  • Prepares, submits and interprets periodic report on activities, sales volume and expenses.  Manage and control sales expenses and ensure the timely submission of business expenses.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Company's service offerings for the business lines they offer to customers.

Supervisory Responsibility:  This position has no supervisory needs.

Work Environment:  This position is mostly completed at the customer work site.  Some aspects will be plant oriented and other aspects will be in an office setting. Some work will be around the chemical processing areas of a customer's worksite.  Most of this position will be in meetings or driving a motor vehicle to and from customer visits. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and some sample equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:  This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and overnight travel.   

REQUIRED Education and Experience

  • Four-year college degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or Science preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a sales or environmental position.
  • Proven sales ability and account management.
