Primary Purpose

Manages an Environmental Assistance Program (EAP) on the client's site.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provides waste management services to clients, including coordinating shipments, completing required paperwork for pick-ups, lab packing, conducting various facility inspections as required; performs sampling, evaluates and provides waste minimization opportunities; sets up brokering arrangements.
  • Schedules and attends client meetings to keep client apprised of operations, prepares monthly reports for client detailing activities, and works with the client to achieve waste management efficiencies.
  • May be responsible for project billing and cost tracking operations.
  • Responds as needed to provide technical assistance on emergency response calls.
  • Proficient in the HP computer system.
  • Directs Field Chemists and Field Technicians while performing on-site activities.
  • Responds to client inquiries about Company and Company Services.

Education:   High school diploma or its equivalent required. Four year college degree preferred. Environmental Science major preferred.

Experience:   1+ years' experience in the hazardous waste management industry preferred. Lab pack experience preferred.

Knowledge and Abilities:   Thorough knowledge and understanding of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the Environmental Services industry. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. Class B CDL w/Hazmat Endorsement preferred. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

A post offer drug screen will be required. A post office background check may be required.
